Owner
Ben Arcenal & Elena Arcenal
My name is Ben, and I have a Bachelors Degree in Nursing. I specialized in Psychiatric Nursing. I worked and managed psychiatric hospitals for 18 years, and then I realized that my expertise is more needed to care for the elderly. I have been doing this now for 19 years.
My wife Elena has a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering. She was also a leader in her field and recently resigned from her work at ZF North America to help me with this endeavor. Both of us are passionate about providing appropriate care to our elderly. Our combined experiences in life and our professions have shaped the core values of Home For Mom and Dad LLC.
Our first experience as providers was at our small license for 6 ALF in Livonia, Michigan, where we learned and experienced how to provide better care for our elderly. My mother was our first patient, who paved the way for us to start this business. Over the past 10 years, we have learned a lot and become successful in what we do with the help of our compassionate staff.

MISSION STATEMENT
To provide quality care to our residents and always maintain that quality of care standard. To enhance the lives of our residents by bringing them joy, happiness.
We want our residents to feel safe and secure in our care, comfortable, and able to live their chosen lives. We aim to assist our residents and ensure that we foster an environment of inclusivity, where they feel safe and supported to retain their independence for as long as possible.
Our caregivers must be compassionate and will treat our residents with love, respect, and dignity.
We will encourage family members to maintain involvement in the treatment planning of care.
We aim to maintain good communication with families and guardians. We will make their families feel welcome anytime. Families will also feel comfortable trusting us to care for their loved ones.

Common Amenities in Home For Mom
And Dad II ALF S-corp

Everyone in the living room will have their recliner chair while watching a movie or any television show with the rest of their peers.

We have a dining room that serves three meals a day. During each meal, while in the living room eating their meals, they will have a self-playing Baby Grand Piano playing soft music for ambiance, or if they choose to listen to music while dining, staff can play music of their choice.

During warmer weather months, we have a huge patio where our residents and staff can enjoy the outdoors and our scenery. This is a place where we can use the outdoor grill, eat outside, and enjoy the sun for those who like it, but we have garden umbrellas for those who don't want direct exposure to the sun.
